Seven pages of comments?! Boys, I think we found a topic that generates REAL interest! Jut my 2-bits: I'm a Glenlivet guy, but my wife INSISTS that it goes great with peanutbutter ball cookies.

honor. It is a symbol of despair. Cheap prices make for
cheap goods; cheap goods make for cheap men; and cheap
men make for a cheap country."

Drillagent, you said 'Macallum.'
You probably mean Macallan which is readily available here in the States. But if you meant McCallum, that is not as easy to come by. Distilled in Scotland it is bottled in Australia. I have been told it is a favorite in SE Asia countries. I had my first dram this summer at the MacCallum Malcolm Clan Society AGM at Estes Park, CO. Our President, had aquired it by his son's girlfriend when she was in Australia. I've never met a Scotch, I could not acquire a taste for.

It is a matter of personal taste. I go for Bushmills.
