I have a Marine cap badge that matches James'. I got mine via ebay, but the website of the distributor and the link to the page featuring this badge is here:

The craftsmanship is extraordinary and much finer than most other clan crest badges I've seen. They are a bit pricey, but are sterling silver and a bit of a collector piece.

    Cordially,

    David

Another option is to get a Lion, thistle or St Andrews cap badge. scottishkilts.net has them but I'm sure they are available from most stores.

    David,
I have a three dimensional Stag's head that was part of the officers version cap badge of the Queens Own Highlanders. This was a three part badge with the stag head, thistle and crown, and the banner that read "Cuidich N Righ", I dont know what happened to the thistle part, but I have the stag head and the banner, I bought them at the Highlanders museum at Fort George in Inverness when I was over in the mother country....They are just sitting in a bag on top of my CPU...yours if you want them...no charge.
    Just let me know.

I can't find anything exactly quite like the USMC Cap Badge (thought that badge can be found on various sites, in addition to Ebay), but I did find this on the 'bay. (I'm not the seller!)

    EDIT: Just found this page...

If you wear a military/regimental badge, you may find people are quite POed at you if you have not earned the right to wear said badge.

Alexis Malcolm sells cap badges, kilt pins and belt buckles for all of the U.S. military services. I have a USAF kilt pin. It is good looking and well made.
