Hello from Arkansas!
Good day all!
Just a quick "ello" and intro...
Born 'n' bred in Hamilton, Scotland. Moved to the States in November of 2004 and now live in Sherwood, Arkansas. Wear my kilt(s) often and with much pride! Can be seen mostly wearing my Davidson tartan when out and about.
Retired (early) from the Royal Air Force, my wife is still serving with the USAF.
Hope to get to know you all a bit better on the boards

LOL, no not really. I've been around Americans (from all parts of the States) since I got into American Football back in 1982. We had Americans playing on our team in Glasgow who came from the Navy base.
Then I also spent six years stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, working mostly with the American lads 'n' lassies. That's where I met my now wife, she was TDY there from Little Rock AFB...and the rest, as they say, is history.
Arkansas has it's own "flavour" for sure (flavor if you prefer!) but for the most part, it was no real culture shock
