Puffer, I think your sense of colour co-ordination is spot on. I'm afraid, however, that the combination of military and non-military styles just doesn't work for me. Sorry. The gentleman walking out might wear all that you have on, except the Ike jacket. That would be replaced by an Argyll and waistcoat and, perhaps, a Balmoral. My only other comment is on the plaid. I sense that this is not properly divided between front and back and seems to be far too long in the front.

As one who has recently donned the kilt full time, and one who has little money to spare to look "kiltedly correct" I think of a few things when I saw the pics. It looks good, and it works for him. I dought there was anyone there who wore the kilted police badge to write a sitation. ;)

If I had the ability to look half as good, I'd be content.

Nice weathered MacKenzie. The Capt. wants you piper's plaid.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

I would tend to use them for a different look than what you have here.
Give the plaid to Capt Mac to go with his new Weathered MacKenzie

    Puffer,

As always, you present a great look.
    Not another "stamped-out-of-the-same-mold" clone.
Many of us wish we could present such humble dignity & taste, as you do, sir.

I raise a glass to your individual style.
