    Quingo's First Outing

Ann traded in her Shoprider mobility scooter for a new more maneouvrable Quingo which arrived during the week. Today was her first opportunity to try it out.

I took her and her scooter to the woollen mill shops in Jedburgh

After lunch Ann enjoyed exploring among the rows of clothes for sale.

The stores also carry a range of kilts, from the full 8-yards by Hector Russell

Through these lightweight kilts by James Pringle Weavers which sell for £40

    To the Instakilt beach/bath towels.

Ann chose some new cardigans and jumpers for herself

And I got left to carry her purchases.

My! That looks like the Rolls-Royce of mobility scooters, Alex, and I trust it will serve Ann well from now on. I must say: Ann looks much more confident with it than I would be on a first outing!

    Take care,
    Ham.

Nice looking scooter Alex. That looks faster than the old one. You may need roller skates to keep up.

What a great looking unit. I hope Ann is pleased with it.

Great photos! A little tweaking of the motor and Ann should be able to take the Quingo out on the track!

I'm with Hamish on that one Alex. Looks to me like she could take that thing off road. Good for her.
