The Border Clans are A Gathering

Looking through my programme for the Hawick Reivers Festival, it contains a list of other Homecoming 2009 events taking place in the Scottish Borders.
18th July - Turnbull gathering in Hawick
22nd to 24th July - Elliot gathering in Newcastleton
24th to 27th September - Scott gathering in Bowhill Estate, Selkirk
Turnbull and Scott gatherings include public events but Elliot gathering is open to Elliots only. Xmarker Sir William has advised me that he will be attending the Elliot gathering so hope to meet up while he is in the area.
Anybody else going to any of these gatherings?
Hawick Reivers Festival is 27th to 29th March. Looks like I will have to miss most of it this year but I do hope to get along to the Hot Trod on the Saturday evening.
Other events include Traquair Mediaeval Fayre at Traquair House, home of the Stuarts, 23rd and 24th May, and the Melrose Pipe Band and Highland Dancing Championship 22nd August.
