Hello All,
The ID History button next to his name reveals this:
eBay Member User ID History
The box below contains the User IDs that this member has used on eBay.
User ID----------Effective Date-----End Date
kiltpeople--------Mar-08-09---------Present
fraserborland----Jun-11-02----------Mar-08-09
It would seem from this that kiltpeople is indeed Fraser Borland.
Regards
Chas

Well established and respected firms from Lochcarron to House of Edgar to Hector Russel to Kinloch Anderson all make some form of a low yardage casual kilt.
I am always suspect of those who think the best way to sell their product is by disparaging other products.
I'm also suspect of an "8 yard 16oz hand sewn kilt" for only $150.
Ditto and Ditto... I agree with Matt 100% on all points above.
I think I saw BIGFOOT wearing a 5 yard Casual kilt while drinking tea with Nessie.

Reading this post makes me wonder about a kilt just ordered and paid for from another Kilt Maker, ie. Macdonalds of Edinburgh,64 Newcraighall Road,
Edinburgh,EH15,3HS. It's my first kilt from them and I haven't heard good or bad on the board the short time I have been here and felt out of place to ask first. I am basically a trusting person. I got my Scottish National Kilt from another maker and am well pleased. I am having a difficult time deciding on which "Seton Kilt" to get first, the choices are making it that way. I ordered an 8 yard Hertage of Ireland Kilt from Macdonalds and will post pic when it arrives.

They say "woolen" - never say "wool." The tartans offered are the same list as the acrylic pakistani tartans offered by Frugal Corner. I smells a rat.

I bought my first kilt, a Gordon, off of Fraser - it didn't fit. Sent it back, he says it was lost - probably up for sale again.....

Ho boy- here we go again! I want to Thank everybody here, and this website in general again for saving my time!
I just about got more involved in negotiations with this dude, but he went into closing his sale without answering my questions, so I looked his name up on here, and whammo!
Again, thanks.
p.s Rocky
--on the Nessie issue; I had an encounter once...not with Nessie, but with a gi-nourmous cab driver from Aberdeen; my wife and I got picked up from the depot,
and as we swung around "THE LOCH", I told my wife that we were passing the realm of the Loch Ness Monster-- she belted out 'oh what a bunch of--" and IMMEDiately, the driver got very agitated, (which was not good, considering not just his feelings, but his abnormally large and rough appearance. (in America, you'd think BIG bad biker).
I heard his tale after chastising the wife, and anyway- a word of advice== Be careful where you disparage that Beastie!
Back to my next Kilt--'budget' is a bad word to have to go by with so many quality makers and collections , but with that in mind-- Usa, McRok, vintagekilts, scotweb, House of edgar(might have a common one like royal stewart in their clearance) I will continue to Jones until my 'budget' goes higher, or a sale comes lower to make ends meet (preferably fringed, selvage).
