Hope you are able to get a nice tweed kilt jacket, Steve. You might want to read my thread on what to do with tartan flashes after you stop wearing them.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I really like the kilt. Is it one of Rocky's wool kilts or does he now have the Macneil tartan in PV? I have one in the same ancient tartan which I purchased through Matt Newsome at the Scottish Tartans museum in Franklin.

Jerry, you need to read the review SteveB posted a link to in his original post in this thread. It's an 8 yard, 16 oz. wool, etc. made in Scotland; that is, this is not made by Rocky.

This is the traditional TANK. Rocky is the facilitator. He is working on establishing a line above the Premier Wool Kilts that he currently sells. Rex_Tremende and I ordered kilts from Rocky in wool, and he offered us the opportunity to obtain and review hand sewn kilts from two different kiltmakers in Scotland. Both of us have 100% Alba kilts. Our reviews are in the USA Kilts forum. I have posted the kilt here for comments in the traditional Highland Dress forum, as this is my real deal kilt for important family occasions, and to wear when I visit Scotland.
