    Any reputable Kiltmaker will be able and happy to order fabric for you.

    Just be specific about which Tartan you want. It would be helpful if you look through the Scottish Tartans Authority to insure you are asking for the one you want.

    Then let them know what composition and weight you are looking for.

    Poly/Viscose is a Blend of Polyester and Rayon.

    (Please be very wary of anyone offering 16oz. or heavy weight P/V as there is no such thing. Marton Mills is the only weaver of P/V in Kilt weight and it is 12oz.) (What you will usually be getting from such vendors is Acrylic fabric that is a thick, think fuzzy, as 16oz Wool but actually only weights approx. 6-8oz.)

    Wool usually comes in 13oz and 16oz for Kilts.
