I couldn't agree more. Unfortunatly some dandy blew the helium budget on pink kilts for his Ensigns and had to fill his airship with gin-saturated hot air which seemed to be plentiful as he wrote this diatribe. This ariel conflagration is the fault of none other than your Panache, Mr. James Q. Fuller-Imself! Oh and a well aimed roman candle ledt over from our Dominion Day celebrations, kilto shot Big Mikey.

    Grant,

If you haven't noticed your blimp should have two engines, one on either side of the gondola instead of a set of nacelles along the sides the hull.

    Trefor,

Grant's blimp, the SOKSB Maple Leaf is a lot like a classic British sports car in that it is quite jaunty when running.

The key word being here being "when" .

Breaking down along a country road is one thing.

Break down at 5,000 feet is quite another!

The SOKSB Maple Leaf II was last sighted disappearing through a hole or tear in the Space/Time continuum over Canada.

This reminds me I should get back to work on that story, an installment is long overdue.

Plush Saltire zeppelins and Maple Leaf blimps available at your local toy store coming soon!

    Cheers

    Jamie,

Attacking SOKSB Maple Leaf performance is one thing but attacking that of a classic British sports car is entirely another. Agreed that the latter is somewhat closer to the ground than the former but even the :blimp: would have problems negotiating our notorious roundabouts at the same height.

    Two words "Joe & Lucas*"!

*the Prince of Darkness, inventor of the short circuit.

Q: Why do the British drink warm beer?
    A: Because Lucas makes refrigerators.

I'm with Jamie on this one.

But it does make classic British motor cars unique...

...even an attempt at going to the market and back becomes an adventure in one!

    Cheers
