Aaaahhhhhh.. Intersting point.. I guess sometimes we get lost in looking for things we want to find.. I have come to realize, thanks to this site, is that I do not have to prove my pedigree to wear my kilt. I can wear whatever kilt I choose. I do know this.... There are Navajo Indians in Arizona, who can proudly say, they have proud Irish and Scot blood running through their veins... And one day, who knows.. There might be a registered Tartan dedicated to the Navajos... History goes on and people continue to evolve...
An interesting side note.... The Apache Indian tribe has an old connection with the Cleghorn family... I have friends who are Cleghorns, surprised to find out where their name comes from.. It's a very old Apache family name and they assumed it was Native based since it was a named tied to some of Geronimo's followers.
It truely is a small world and we are all related..
