    Kilt at Epcot

Spent last weekend at Epcot with some friends and family. While we were having lunch my wife spotted a gent wearing a solid black kilt. The fellow came close by and my wife asked him what type of cloth it was made of. He was very nice and let us know it was a poly-cotton blend made by Alpha Kilts. It looked great and he seemed very comfortable in it.
I did ask if he was a visitor of XMTS but he had never had. Hope he changes his mind and checks out the site.

When I lived in Kissimmee I worked as a lifeguard for Disney. On my days off I would make my best effort to be kilted in the parks. What a great job... if you don't need to make much more than the gas to get to work.

I take it you did not visit the Canadian Pavilion. Off Kilter is a wonderful band that plays there, kilted.

Or, maybe they just were not there that day.

    That's a great name for a band!

They are wonderful. They only perform 3-4 days a week when we were there. They were working on a new album, and practicing. It is not often that you hear "Johnny B Goode" echoing across the landscape played on the bag pipes. We have a couple of their CD's. The Rogues they are not, but darn close in quality.

"Sweet home alberta" "Run Run Away" ... who needs a lead guitar when you have bag pipes!

I named a beer Off Kilter last year. For the beer geeks, it was an 80/- ale.
