By the way - could anyone clarify if they are taking a wife/husband or partner to the meetings?
I'd feel bad if I didn't drag my girlfriend along as I'm sure she'd enjoy talking to a whole range of people from all over the world (although I'm sure she's sick of hearing about kilts - my fault!)

Paul,
Bring her. My wife will be tagging along at the pub meetings, though I'm not sure about the Talisker tent on Saturday, and I suspect there will be other significant others as well. In fact, I'd be surprised if they didn't.

I think I'll be at the sidelines... about to buy our tickets for saturday only. I suspect I'll feel a bit unwell on sunday!

According to a check with a UK weather site, we're going to have a spot or two of rain most days for a least the next week. Keep your fingers crossed that the rain will give Edinburgh a miss next weekend.
Jock Scot wimped out on me by claiming he had an "accident" and was in hospital. Even had a whole thread or two about it (a very good and almost convincing deception plan) but I know he really didn't want to meet a fellow X-Marker. (Take care of yourself Jock and don't let the goons catch you. I'll see you the next time I cross the pond.)
I hope you and all the others coming over, have a safe trip and have a huge amount of fun.Take loads of pictures and er, well, um, don't do anything that I would'nt do!
