My favorite casual footwear when kilted is my pair of Georgia Boot 6" logger boots. They are as comfortable as sneakers, will stand up to any weather and (I think) look cool. Plus, they have their own kilts...

I have this very pair. I actually wore them with my PC and Kilt on my wedding day. I've also worn them from time to time with the kilt for other formal occasions. I've in the last few months decided to retire them and get a proper pair of dress shoes as they just don't suit me anymore. Plus, they seem to have shrunk if that's possible.

I don't know about with a kilt, but if it works it works! I would definitely wear the AJ1's in funky colors non-kilted though.

As to my favorite casual shoes, I wear these with great pleasure while kilted.

They're very comfortable and work well with the kilt, IMO.

This would probably be my all time favorite casual shoe, though I don't see myself wearing them with the kilt.

Hmm... perhaps with my Burns Check kilt??

It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

Not from a website, these are one of my two pairs of identical Timberlands. I wear them for work or closed shoe casual, kilted or bifurcated. I bought two pairs from my favorite mail order house on closeout so I could give them days off and last longer.

Just about anything that has the Merrell tag on it works for me, from simple sandals to water shoes to trailrunners to light hiking shoes to casual slides to backpacking boots, I have pretty much worn them all in one fashion or another with the kilt.

I wear Merrell jungle moccasins 99.98% of the time

Very comfortable, and they go well casual and even semi-dressy.
