It's a pity there were not more in kilts but you batted well for the kilted cause!

    Nice photos Paul!

Super pictures Paul. I have to ask if the groom is a non Scot. I wore trousers to get married, but that was a generation ago, I thought all Scots bridegrooms wore kilts to their weddings nowadays.

He's a Scot - but said he'd feel more comfortable in something he's worn before i.e. tousers! It's a shame as the best man, father of the bride and usher all wanted to wear kilts.
In the father of the groom speech he said "welcome to the clan" which was a nice touch... followed by some Scottish music in the disco. I was up for the Gay Gordons which seemed to last 15mins a piece!

They're in for a shock in a few years at my own wedding - they'll never have seen anything more Scottish in their lives!

It's not such a bad thing -dare I say it- not to see the kilted Groom at every Wedding purely from a photographic point of view. By the way did anybody catch today's Made In Scotland on STV. The presenter had his own tartan made, plus a wee bit of footage from the Edinburgh Gathering.

Found a couple of pics of us dancing. I think we were just about the only people who kept in time!
