Hi all
...kinda just dropped off the planet for a while...you were all so helpfull and encouraging as I worried about my cousin (from Glasgow) meeting me in Vegas and bringing me a "tank" to wear...long story short...'twas the coolest garment I ever wore(?)...the missus helped me get dressed...I was apprehensive to strole around in such a device...however...the reaction from the general public was unreal (very positive)...everyone wanted to talk to me...ask questions etc...I've worn it a few times since getting back home (Victoria,BC... yes, I've met the Wizard and he was very helpful)...everytime I put on the "tank" I swell up with pride (I'm first generation Canadian)...I go from six feet, to six feet six as I feel that 8+yards of fabric wrap it's self around me...never mind the swing of the knife pleats...wear 'em with pride boys...
best

It's amazing how the kilt makes that change, in the way we carry ourselves. We walk with a bit of confidence, and swagger. People notice, and it brings out the positive comments.. I am glad you had such a positive reaction, to wearing your kilt.

I concur, the last 4 and 2 of the next 4 kitls I've picked up from SK have been for the girls {2 LA Dodger minis, 1 Black Watch mini, 1 Steelers team kilt - mini}. The next 4 will be 2 more Steelers - 1 mini, 1 a bit longer and both are for girls, Ralphie's "black with skulls" team kilt (getting MLB fabric has become impossible of late so he won't be getting a White Sox kilt), and my Maple Leaf custom.
Additionally 1 other girl will not wear a kilt or skirt so a pair of trews is in the planning stages with fabric from SK (sewn elsewhere).
I promise at some point in the future the pics of all these will end either her or on the SK website.
Oh and Welcome to the fray Scot, great story.
