What's the difference between "Kilt Photo Gallery" and "Show us your pics." I really don't understand. If I want to share some recent pictures of me kilted at some recent events, where should I put them?

The Kilt photo galleries are a fairly new addition to this version of the forum.
In the early days of X Marks the software we used allow photos to be uploaded only to special galleries.
When we switched to the vBulletin software photos were allowed anywhere on the forum so we started the "Show us your pics" section to highlight or give someone a place to show off their new kilt or photos.

Hank put the Galleries back into the forum as a special and additional add-on to the software last year. He did so at the special request of some members who missed the original way of displaying their photos.

The show us your pics section is still the best place to post your photos if you want them to be noticed. Photos put in the galleries will not show up in the new posts. People have to go look for them.
