Barring family obligations, I'll try to make it. What's the dress?

To be honest, this will be my first time there. I'm planning on wearing my Argyll jacket and waistcoat, but I imagine you'd do fine in shirt & tie.
Hope to see you there!

Just a brief note to say that I really enjoyed the St. Andrew's Day Evensong service! I was priveledged to witness the Pipes and Drums of Jacksonville as they tuned up prior to the event. To my ear, they were well in tune before they tuned up. Afterward it was grand! The whole band was not in attendance, six pipers and a drummer, but sufficient to fill the cathedral with sound.
I regret no photos (I have a deep, abiding aversion to photography within a church!).
Afterward, more pipes (they do credit to "Itchy Fingers") and a nice reception!

Everyone: Things have been crazy for me lately so i greatly apologize for this tardy post - if you receive it at all. I promise to be more vigilent in the future! Please don't count me out!
Best Regards and Merry Christmas!
