Meh, we here in South Texas pay no heed to what some yankee groundhog sees. We celebrate chupacabra day. And yes, the chupacabra saw his shadow.

What would Texans know about snow anyway?

All I know about it is that northerners complain about it all the time and use it as an excuse to not do anything for a couple of days. Or they run away from it in winter and come hang out down here.

Those aren't real Northerners; unlike Southerners, who freak out at an inch of snow, we get out and get on with our lives.

And before any Southerners take offence, I my wife is from a very Southern family. Just kiddin'.

Hear you reb's are gettin' more than your usual share of winter weather. Buck up! "That which does not destroy us makes us stronger!"

Shadow or no shadow, Spring comes March 21st.

A while back I decided that Mr. Phil there is corrupt, he always gives the same prediction. Awfully suspicious... So take heart my friends...this year I came up with a far more scientific way of determining how much longer we have til spring. Rather than put all our trust in Phil, I decided to include my four guinea pigs in the equation too. I figure a guinea pig is pretty much a smaller ground hog right? So! Best of 5! Phil may have seen his shadow, but let me say this. My kitchen was awefully dark when I left for work on Feb 1, no WAY they saaw their shadow!
