A Serious Matter

Just an offbeat postscript - I read in Yahoo news that there is a protracted court action between a group of young Native Americans and Washington Redskins over the team’s name. The N.A. plaintiffs contend it is demeaning and insulting to them and their culture and want the name banned.

Personally, I can’t see what’s demeaning about “Washington” at all.

I think this puts me in need of some comfort food. I’m off later to the supermarket to buy some Native American potatoes.
