For a little guy he rendered a fine salute! And received one as well.

A very heartwarming clip. What a lucky little lad, as well, to have the whole uniform made up for him.

Although I've seen this clip before, I never tire of viewing this. A well turned out lad who has obviously been brought up correctly, and a nice gesture by the troops too.

					Guess I'm alone there....
Question for my Canadian military brothers...noticed the entire right file turned their heads to the right except the first guy in line. Is that how you do it? In the US, the entire right file keeps eyes straight forward. Just curious.

In short, yes, that's how it's done in Canada and the Commonwealth. Only the right marker keeps looking forward.

In my experience, it's a move involving turning the head to the right (or left, as the case may be) and continuing to watch the bloke in front of you out of the corner of your eye so you keep walking straight. There's no blasted way you can actually look at the person being saluted and keep your dressing.
