Asked to do radio interview
I was at an ice cream parlour with family last Saturday in my new USAK Holyrood kilt when a local radio DJ spotted me. While he did not approach me then, he tracked me down via Facebook later and asked me to go on his radio programme.
I've been browsing the forum for posts about dealing with the media regarding the wearing of the kilt. Hopefully this will be a good opportunity to educate a few people about the subject.
Some predictable questions:
1. Bagpipes
2. Underwear
3. Significance of tartans
I also plan to bring a spare kilt for the DJ to try on. Wish me luck!

Best of luck, I am sure you will make a good ambassador for the kilt in your country.

Yes best of luck - guess it would be kind of difficult to ask for pictures when it's a radio interview!

Well done, Thoth. Be sure to report back after the interview.

As does one see someone at an ice cream parlor and be able to track them down later?

I know a little
Good on ya, thoth51.
A while back, I was in a similar situation, except I was 'spotted' at the bar.
Since it was for print, the conversation with Susan was leisurely and I didn't need to think on my feet.
You can see it here.
As for live radio, my advice is to think twice, then talk slow.

Don't neglect to mention the fact that women swoon over men in kilts. That's sure to get the Singapore lads interested.

That's great advice. All the best on your interview, and have fun!
