I work in inventory. Meaning i go from store to store, doing inventories.
I had my manager tell me that, if I could somehow "document" kilt wearing as a religious issue, he'd sign off on it. I demurred... I'm on ladders most of the time...
The telecom I work for not only is happy with the kilt (official ruling: as long as the kilt is within the dress code for women's skirts, it's good for us, i.e. not a miniskirt...so, well, duh), but I mentioned in passing to a visiting VP (head of Customer Care) my idea of designing a tartan in the company colors and he loves it. Heh, US company, with a German parent...
I am lucky that my employer (big company in Tucson Ron) doesn't have an issue with kilts. I wear them almost everyday (20 out of 21) and I get complaints when I wear trousers (from women).
