identification needed

can someone help me identify this tartan.
i saw this one a while ago and i absolutely love it,problem is that i dont know wich tartan it is.

once i know the tartan i am going to order one for myself offcourse i will post a pic when its in

Could send the pic to your kiltmaker - they'd know. Guessing you can't ask the band anymore.

In the first photo it looks a lot like the restricted Holland tartan:

The tartan in the first photo is "78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe Band". They commissioned a custom tartan based on the regimental predecessor.

The tartan also appears to be similar to the Lindsay tartan although Lindsay is woven in a shade of dark claret red most often.

I keep coming back to this thread and I cannot place the tartan. At first I thought it might be either Stewart of Appin or Kerr, but it's not either of those. It looks rather like the Roxburgh tartan without the white stripe.

If the photos were clearer I might be able to help more.

I at first thought it was MacLachlan Red Modern. But upon further inspection, that's not even close.

This tartan seems to have a rather large sett, with the black stripe only going through the center of every second red strip.

I don't think it's 78th Fraser, but your comment did get me looking at the Fraser tartans and I believe there is a very good chance this could be Fraser of Altyre.
