I really dig the red vinyl pick guard on that Tele! Is that your creation or aftermarket?
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

You guys know about my knives and cooking so how about these as well?
Black work I'm doing on some Ren gear -

Bobbin lace pieces. I'm hoping that if I ever need a jabot I can do my own.

A practice piece done out of linen -

I've picked a few other minor things like hardanger and cross stitch.

I have a bunch of cats too.
I do grow mesquite trees, which have excellent hard wood.
Only I don't have pictures.
I also have several bonsai in training.
I don't have pictures of those either.
The bonsai don't look impressive until they are in their containers and are being maintained in their intended form, or at least have all the sacrifice branches pruned off. It can take years and years to get to that point, and I've only so far developed trunks and first few main branches on my trees.
So there's my wooden hobbies.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I love that bobbin lace!! I have a few antique patterns for crochet lace that I replicated but I've been too timid to attempt bobbin and tatting lace. Well,I did try tatting years ago but ended up with a mess of knots and nothing resembling lace at all.
Nice embroidery as well!

Come down to my neck of the woods. You can't spit without hitting a mesquite tree.
