And yes, my lass keeps a smile on my face Not only is she pretty and she loves tartan, but she's the one who found and purchased the kilt-cut tweed waistcoat on eBay.
Awesome! Tartan loving lasses are the best. I agree, she's very pretty... looks like you two make a great couple.
Great pics, as well. I think your semi formal/smart day style is similar to mine in many ways. I always look forward to your pic threads.

Great pics.
Re: your jacket. I think the torso looks fine. It should be fairly loose and comfortable across the shoulders, but not so much that the fabric bunches or puckers, especially in the mid-shoulder area (your lower cervical/upper thoracic vertebrae). I'd leave it a bit roomy in the event you want to wear a sweater/jumper under it sometime.
Your sleeves look a tad long (by maybe 1/2 to 1 inch). Hard to tell from a photo. Any men's tailor should be able to take care of that with no problem. They could probably even roll the fabric under and re-press the end without having to cut it, just in case your arms grow longer. (Of course, the button would be moved to an appropriate location as well.)
