I don't think there was ever a wool Nightstalker tartan...I'm assuming Nighthawk is referring to the Black Shadow heavyweight.
If there was a wool Nightstalker, I'm sorry I missed it! My Nightstalker standard is the only acrylic kilt left in my closet, but I'm scared to wear it because Nighthawk keeps telling me I'll burst into flames! Ask him how he knows!

Well done, all! The food scale should be pretty good, it's sometimes awkward getting a kilt onto it.
I measured a Stillwater or two, and they came out near 13 ounce. We might be able to find the thread, I have not tried today...

I did it a little simpler than that. I have a body weight scale accurate to 0.2lb. I just weighed myself in the kilt, took it off, and weighed myself again.

Veeeery. At this price point you really couldn't ask for a better kilt in wool. While not a hand sewn kilt, I'd put my Saffron HW up against any other kilt and 99% of the average persons would not know the difference. The other 1 percent hang out here too much One of these should be in everyone's kollection.
