Rocky makes a valid point...several actually. One of them is that regardless of whether you are dealing with a kilt maker or a retailer if they are doing their part the customer will be satisfied with the product. I'm glad you finally got a kilt you can be happy with. That's what we're all after.

    Now...make with the pics!

Just wanted to mention, too, that Peter is not the kilt maker, but he uses a top notch tailor in Scotland, one who puts an eye on detail! Oh, and please be advised that he's a small enterprise, for now, and goes out of his way to satisfy a customer!

On another note: I was sent a PM by a forum member during my last Robertson fiasco, and this person stated that the problem was certainly not in the kilt. Hmm, so the problem was me? My measurements?? He must be somkin' dope, as the first kilt I ordered from that company was pretty good. And, this kilt has the same measurements and it's fine. My Wally Catanach, hand-stitched kilt, has the same dimensions and it's great, also. My inexpensive off the rack kilts fit fine! Wonder what this person meant? He never explained. Anyway, the last company just screwed up with choosing poor kilt makers.

I do feel that a huge Highland wear conglomerate can't quite meet the quality control issues that a small business can. Sometimes they do, but with such high volume, the small details get passed over. Just my 2 cents, here!

Oh, pics coming soon, like tonight or tomorrow! So hang in there!

I was under the impression Reid left a kilt retailer to become a kilt maker. I didn't realize he was still a retailer. Anyway like Yoda said get on with the pictures!!!

Yes, Peter left one major retailer to do a start up business....Reid Kilts. He is NOT the actual kilt maker. He sources out, but to a noted Scottish tailor!

Guess what?... I'm downloading pics as I write. It's taking forever. I'll start a new thread. Hope to have them on this evening.
