Welcome!
I'm just an hour's drive north. I quite like the parts of Bellingham I've seen. Used to go dancing at the Fairhaven Library, and the occasional fine brew, just down the street....
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.

Welcome from a Whidbey Islander currently residing in the middle of nowhere.
The grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and it's usually greenest right above the septic tank.

@ Everyone: Thanks for the kind welcomes!
@ Gryphon Noir: Did you get your fine brews at Archer's Ale House by chance?
@ Duke of Delrio: At the time of your post it was not raining! 2 minutes later it most certainly was.
@ Cormacmacguardhe: I rather love Maple Falls. Have you been to the North Fork Beer Shrine and Brewery between Bellingham and MF?
