    Good Sir, I have a sgian dubh from Jim at Comrie crafts. The blades come honed...very sharp. I have one of his dress sd's and am very happy.

    I already had this one.

    It's pretty. After a LOT of work on the stainless blade, including with a diamond hone, I've managed to get what I consider a functional edge on it. As for "sharp", though, well, perhaps we just have different personal standards.

    Considering the size of your new knife, I'm quite impressed at how smooth it lies in your hose. The flattening on the leg side appears to have quite effective
