That is quite a transformation.
The beret is quite a large one - so it gives a good height to the tilt as well as a decent overhang on the other side.
It does look a little soft - so it might fall into creases, or even (!!) droop, if you put a heavy cockade on it.
Perhaps some sort of lining or backing might be needed, or look for lightweight options for the cockade to avoid the need.
