G'day from The North King Country
G'day all, just realised that I hadn't been in to the newbie part and introduce myself, bit remiss of me really.
So here goes I come from a place called Te Kumi in the North King Country (it's not named after the british king as at the time it was settle (1885) by europeans the british king was a queen). i grew up on the family farm (part of which i own) grew up wearing kilts and playing the pipes and bass drum, not at the same time, dads been the drum major of the local band since it was started in 1949. In fact i think i was born in a kilt. my mothers the commissioner for the House of Gordon here in NZ. I own two feileadh mhor and one feileadh beag.
And tho am in my first year at uni, I've been working as a tourguide showing people our famous glow worms as a blackwater rafter and now a dry cave guide for the last 13 years, before that i was a presser, crutcher and shearer.
Oh and I have a nasty habit of making targe etc.
Anywho now that I've bored you all to death... thats all and g'day
Ross
