Modern Formal
This is a thought exercise for those that wish to play...
If you were wanting to put together a modern, formal, black tie outfit how would you roll it?
Mine:
-a 3 pleat Lady Chrystel modern kilt in Ancient Dunbar tartan
-a western cut (spencer type) Tux coat or an Ike type, same tartan on bias
-black mandarin collared shirt or a wingtip shirt with a bolo tie
-3" kilt belt with western themed buckle
-western tooled sporran
-sox to compliment shirt
-western lacers for shoes
-perhaps a western derby or a fedora styled cowboy hat
Note: I live in Colorado that is why I am looking at the western theme
Now it is your turn...
