Hi all,
thanks for your compliments, it means a lot for me to know you oppinion. Many thanks also to CDNSushi for posting the colours explanation - I love our national tatran for its coulours and its story (it was created by Vaclav Rout, the piper, orginizer of Highlang Games and the head of the Friends of Scotland in the Czech Republic).
To New World Czech: The tartan is heavyweight (8 yd, 16oz) wool, woven in Scotland, but I don´t know exactly the name of the mill, complete sett size is 21 cm (ca 8.3 inches). I tried to pleat to stripe but almost everybody here advised me to pleat to sett and I think it was very good advice.
