On a side note, I still love wearing one and would love to wear one everyday. My biggest problem is the cost. Anyone know of a good place to get patterns to where I can have some kilts made? On that some thought, anyone know of a good place to get reasonably priced fabric that won't tear up after the first two or three times I wear my kilt. I prefer the "traditional" style of kilt, with buckles on the sides. Any help in these endeavors is greatly appreciated.

Im not sure what type fabric you are looking for, I believe some members have already recommended some of the fine mills in Scotland. If you want non wool or PV fabric I can recommend a hemp cloth site. I plan to get some 12 ounce hemp twill, it comes in colours, to make a traditional box pleated kilt. Im wanting some solid colour kilts that arent black, my cats shed too much. If you would like the hemp fabric site please feel free to pm me.
