A French Encounter
So I'm out hiking my favorite tourist trail today - met folks from India, Germany, North Carolina, Japan, and France.
This French lady's male friend was most interested in my kilt and wanted a bunch of pictures. No problem - just I get a photo with your lady. Deal done.

God I love kilts!
That's my new teal Scottevest Travel Vest with 22 pockets - no need for a sporran. More about it on the accessories forum.
Kilt is my Antarctic tartan 13 ounce wool by Dalgliesh via the Antarctic Trust. Hand sewn by Kathy Lare. The way the sun's on it shows the tartan whiter than it is.

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
