Folks, this all makes good sense. I'm more likely to do harm to my project and myself if I try the machine. All of this sewing stuff is so new to me... a relative actually just sent me an old sewing machine she had in the closet, so I was wondering what I could do with it. I'll be stitching this kilt by hand.
