Cameron Black and Red on the Colorado River
Was a beautiful fall day today so went down to Lees Ferry - love the place, so beautiful, so spiritual, so historic and so serene.
Started out on the old Navajo Bridge over Marble Canyon of the Colorado River.
Then was down at the dock at Lees Ferry
Then went up Paria Canyon to Lonely Dell, the trees were in their late fall colors.
Then went down to Paria Beach at Paria Riffle, the first white water after Lees Ferry on downcanyon trips - but not rough enough to be rated a rapid.
Kilt is the Cameron Black and Red from the House of Edgar Old and Rare collection, hand sewn by Kathy Lare.
Only kilt comment was going to breakfast at the local diner a guy asked what the occasion was. I said "comfort." He asked what the tartan was so I said Cameron. He said, "Oh, I'm a Campbell." I told him I was a Macdonald and so now I had to kill him. Cracked him up...
