Re: St. Louis Scottish Games
Great photos! It's always a fun games. I used to be heavily involved in the St. Andrew's Society of Greater St. Louis, before moving to Cincinnati. I was a member of the Board and assisted in the organisation of the games at Forest Park. They used to have it all weekend long, but budgetary issues (amongst other things) has prevented that since 2006.
I am a wee bit more biased towards the Missouri Tartan Day Festival at Frontier Park in St. Charles, in April - better organised, with more events, plus it's all weekend long - also a short stroll from nearby Lywellen's, which is always a great spot for a pint and superb food. Hopefully, we'll be present at the 2012 Tartan Day celebration, we shall see.
Cheers,
