This was taken during a three-day snow storm and the goose stayed in our back yard for the entire time. Whenever the train whistle sounded from across the valley, the lone goose would answer plaintively. It made me think how important our loved ones are to us, especially during this special season. I hope that each one of you are surrounded by your friends and loved ones and that each of you has the merriest of Christmases.
