Re: Burns Night in Oklahoma?
Hey gordontaos!! Sorry we couldn't get more than one night together during your previous trip. Kilted in Enid...that HAS to be memorable to anyone that saw you/us that night.
The United Scottish Clans of Oklahoma (USCO) (http://www.uscoscots.org/index.htm) is hosting a Burns Supper on January 21 at 1800 hours downtown Oklahoma at the Bricktown Brewery. You can scroll about 2/3s the way down that link I provided for the address/specifics.
My buddy John will be going too. I have never attended the Burns Supper here, but intend to this year. They do NOT stipulate a dress code, but from reports of previous years you can expect to see everything from PC to ghillie shirts.
If you still have my number, give me call/text when you get into town. Maybe we can do another pre-Burns kilt night!?
Looking forward to your return.
