I was taught as a Glaswegian child in the 70s the words to Flower Of Scotland (And also "Wee Anne took her yo-yo" and "Ye cannae fling Pieces oot o 20 storey flats") but accepted that the national anthem was unofficially Scotland The Brave, where everyone knows the words are dum-dum-de-dum-dum.

I'd gladly accept FoS, StB (if it came with a word study guide), A man's a man, Scots Wha Hae or even the aforementioned Pieces.
