oh no oh no oh noooo
I washed my black cotton kilt - and put a few other dark items in with it.
And a tissue.
I now have an almost 8 yard kilt, several shirts, a couple of tees, random underwear and socks - all covered in a fine layer of tiny white fibres.

oh woe is me.
The kilt fabric is slightly brushed, like peach skin - maybe the fibres will come off in a decade or two.
Maybe it will just look like a grey kilt when it is dry.
Maybe I should just make a new black kilt.
