NW sunshine and lack of fund raising
The 2004 Paws a Thon was pretty much a bust. Rained off and on and we were in the back end of a BIG park area. But I loved spending the day with dogs and their wonderful and caring owners. I'd rather spend all day with dogs and responsible owners than any one else (kilted bretheren excepted, of course.)
Learned a lot of what works and what does not.
I was annoncer and I am the Chairman. TO stand out I wore the UK olive mocker. Many nice comments on the Kilt.
Next year will be better. Already working on a better, more accesible venue.
But, it seems that not much bothers you in a kilt. I am Chair and was a trouble shooter at the event. Despite all the little things that went weird, I never lost my cool. Must be a different mind set when you are kilted.
Peace
Chris
