I have a few pair already.



Background is my Clan monochrome, modern green and modern red.

Foreground is existing hose and flashes collection, claret hose, yellow flashes, ancient blue and khaki hose, bright red flashes, lovat blue, charcoal and bottle green hose, subdued blue flashes.

So I have a birthday coming up. I am content with my life, and it took a bit to get here. I don't really "want" anything - but I wouldn't mind some new colors of hose.

So I really like three or four colors at House of Cheviot. In the Rannoch line:

I really like the rose pink, the mustard and the purple.

I like the purple of "thistle" in the Skye line even better than the rannoch purple.

That brings me to the mustard and the rose pink in the rannoch line.

So my wife called the STM today. They don't have the rose pink in stock of course, and it has been dropped from the men's line. Ronin thought he might could order a pair of rose pink hose from the lady's rannoch line that would fit my feet, with no one the wiser.

Seen a lot of threads go by suggesting pink kilt hose. I think I can pull it off. I don't see any pictures on here of other people wearing pink kilt hose.

Should I go with the mustard? I kind of like the purple of the Sandringham hose named "heather" too...
