I saw a kilt made from cotton tartan material once. Not good. You are quit correct that it wrinkles like the dickens and really didn't hang well at all. Cotton is a great material with many fine clothing applications, but kilts just ain't one of 'em.
O.K. I'm convinced! I was looking for less expensive, cool, and I wouldn't be as timid with the iron as I am with my Atlanta Kilts kilt.
