The Cairngorm range of Tweeds woven by Marton Mills are listed as weighing 335gsm.
If we convert this to the same system we use for kilt fabric, in ounces per yard, this would equate to 16oz. fabric.
I have the Highland fabrics swatch books and the feel is very similar in weight to the Jura range of fabrics.
The jackets we have received in these fabrics have been very nice. I have one in the Loden/Craig.
