It's true that he was the quarterback for the Rogues, but they traded him to the Moria Miners for two first-round picks. After a brief stint with the Miners, salary cap issues and the need to bolster their abysmal defensive line saw Gandalf's contract sold to Denver.
He's had a tremendous season so far. Not only has he orchestrated several come-from-behind victories as quarterback, he also plays on the other side of the ball as a stellar defensive end. His defense against the run is adequate, but in long-yardage 3rd down situations he is one of the best!

Well if Gandalf came out of retirement , he is now Gandalf the White , therefore Denver should go to and win the Super Bowl ! 
Hmm , we'll have to see how that plays out !
