    *blink* Huh?

I have no idea who Kiltedwolfman is, nor that he works for/with you (! When did you get a partner?), or that he did in fact make those kilts. If you say he did, then he did. Heck, if HE says he did, then he did! No problem. I think it was a misunderstanding, seeing as we were talking about entirely different runs/productions of the cloth, which I tried to allude to in my post of 15th November 12, 07:23 PM Clearly, he was able to use the fabric that you all purchased, to make those kilts in the way that we all usually do, by joining pieces cut from each selvedge. He said so...OK, so if he said so, then I'm sure he's right, so I was thinking that there must be some other answer and that's when I figured out that he was talking about fabric from a completely different supplier.

Of course, the 11 ounce wool/poly stuff from F&K is not necessarily first -drawer "kilt quality" and I don't expect it to be. It's not at all the same as the stuff you custom-ordered from Marton Mills, and Jackson knows it. Now I do, too!

I'm not angry with F&K for producing the cloth the way they did, I just wanted to warn potential X Marks users who were going to buy it, that they couldn't assemble it into a continuous length like we usually do by linking sections cut from opposite sides of the cloth. Also, it was kind of a shock when I cut the stuff out, expecting "the usual" and 'allooo?????? It didn't work out that way! But F&K didn't put some guarantee of "symmetricness" up on their website, and this stuff wouldn't normally get made into a kilt, anyway. So no big deal. It's a lightweight "budget" kilt and if I have to hem it, no big deal. I just intended the original post as a warning, not a complaint.

    No worries, all 'round.
