The official "How to put a photo in your posts" thread.
Here on X Marks we have a saying, "No pics - It didn't happen".
We love to show off our kilts and our outfits by posting our photos.
One of the first frustrations we all face, as new members, is how to put a photo into our posts.
We use the vBulletin software package to run X Marks and unless you are familiar with forums you may not be able to figure this out.
I have prepared this tutorial to try to help.
There are two way to put photos in your posts.
Due to the way our software deals with data your photos are not actually stored here on the forum. Your photos must exist somewhere already. This can be on your own website or somewhere else on the web.
What you are putting in your posts are not the photos themselves but a link to your photos where they are actually stored.
Please have a look at the following posts to learn how to insert the links to your photos so that they will show up in your posts.
